Between Me and the Night announced
Lace Games and RainDance LX has forged an alliance to develop and publish the indie game Between Me and the Night. The game is as surrealistic as it can get, walking the thin line that separates sanity and madness with a heavy focus on the duality of life: good vs. evil, sanity vs. insanity and day vs. night. The latter duality of life is also one of the core gameplay features of the game – a day and night cycle in which everything changes.
In Between Me and the Night, you follow a fiery red-haired boy that is wandering around in his floating house, solving puzzles to gain access to rooms and boosts skills. When the night comes, the nameless boy will do anything in his power to stay awake and continue to explore the house he lives in. But when sleep overcomes him, the thin line of reality and fantasy seems to fade as he now needs to face the fears that deep imbedded within his mind.
