Brand new entertainment and old-school classics coming to your home screen in October
Universal has announced their releases for the month of October, giving us a lot to look forward to when the autumn weather makes going outside less appealing and we just want to plop down on the couch instead.
First off we have Chicago Fire Season 9 coming out on DVD on October 6th. This long-running show follows the adventures of firehouse 51, both the emergencies they drive out for as well as the drama unfolding in these firefighter’s personal lives. A boxset containing all the episodes from season 1 to 9 is also set to release on the same date. For movies, we have Freaky releasing on October 20th. This horror-comedy revolves around a young girl who ends up swapping bodies with the slasher murderer trying to kill her, having limited time to return to her former self or risk being stuck as a serial killer forever. Freaky will be available both on DVD and Blu-ray.
If you’re looking to relive some nostalgia, there are two more releases to look out for. On October 20 both Inglorious Bastards and The Thing are being rereleased by Universal on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, giving you a chance to experience these classics like never before.
