Bubble Bobble 4 Friends expands with new DLC
Although Bubble Bobble 4 Friends arrived in Europe and Australia back in November, the game hadn’t made it to the USA. That changes today with the North and South American release, as Bubble Bobble 4 Friends is now available on the US Nintendo eShop. The bigger news for fans, however, is that ININ and Taito have also announced a new DLC for the game.
The DLC hasn’t been titled yet as it is currently still in development, but Taito has listened to the fans’ desires, promising not only new stages but also the return of a familiar face. Fan-favorite enemy Baron von Blubba is set to make his appearance in the upcoming update. More details are expected to be revealed in the upcoming weeks and months. Although no release date for the DLC has been set yet, it has been confirmed to be free for all players worldwide. The base game, Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, is available worldwide now on the Nintendo eShop.
