Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s new content season hits PS4
Exciting times are ahead for players of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, as the new content season, titled “Operation Dark Divide” has started on PS4. The hero-and-villains themed season adds two multiplayer maps, a new Blackout-mode, various pieces of equipment and hero-themed personalization options. Additionally, Treyarch is ending the decade-long Zombies storyline ‘Aether’ with ‘Tag Der Toten’.
Operation Dark Divide adds the following free content for everyone: The new Blackout-update adds a fresh new comic-book-inspired style. In addition, players can double jump in the limited time mode “Heavy Metal Heroes”. This mode adds new items such as flare guns and a tank in order to create the ultimate Battle Royale. Meanwhile, the new features for Zombies consist of a new Perk and two new Elixers.
Those that have a Black Ops Pass can look forward to even more content, with the new Lair and Launch multiplayer maps and the Tag Der Toten storyline. Elements of the Call of the Dead map have been reworked and expanded, allowing players to explore more areas and find Easter Eggs that will reveal the true story.
The Black Ops pass is included in the Digital Deluxe, Digital Deluxe Enhanced, Pro and Mystery Box editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and is also available separately. The new content is available now on PS4, with other platforms getting the update in the near future.
