Cardfight!! Vanguard Booster Pack 07: Moon Fangs & Cerulean Blaze
It’s been a short while, but we’re back to check out the next Booster Pack of Cardfight!! Vanguard. This new Booster Pack in the Standard format promises to offer players plenty of new Vanguard Units and support cards! Veteran players will be pleased to find support cards for some older deck profiles in this Booster Pack, but Bavsargra also makes its long-awaited return in the form of a new Vanguard. As always, we loved tinkering with older decks and trying out new ones as well.
Compared to a few of the previous Booster Packs, Booster Pack 07: Moon Fangs & Cerulean Blaze focuses more on new deck profiles and less support for older decks. Don’t get us wrong, there is still some support to be found here, but this Booster Pack simply has a few more standout ‘new’ Vanguard options to play with. You’ll find interesting new Vanguards such as Sealed Blaze of Arbitration, Bavsargra Aksayya, Dualmajestar, Astroea゠Bico Stella, Keeper of the Moon Gate, Veissrugr, Hound Raiser, Aoi, Argo Siren, Calliopeia, and PolyPhonicOverDrive, Artisaria. As always, we can only discuss a few of the new Vanguards in the Booster Pack, but we have a few nice ones in mind for this article.
For starters, there is Keeper of the Moon Gate, Veissrugr, which focuses on its Moon Gate Set Order in order to bulk its forces in the Order Zone. When doing so, Veissrugr can call units to the Rear-Guard Circle when attacking via its ability. Sealed Blaze of Arbitration, Bavsargra Aksayya is Bavsargra’s triumphant return, and this new Vanguard will please fans of the older version, as they can still use quite a few older cards. This makes it fun for existing players to upgrade their classic decks in order to come out on top again. Last but not least, there is PolyPhonicOverDrive, Artisaria, which brings Shadow Army Tokens and the Lock effect to Lyrical Monasterio via its Sound System cards. It’s a fun new deck recipe for the nation, and it does have that perfect mix between Lyrical Monasterio artwork and Brandt Gate mechanics.
As always, keep an eye on official events hosted by your local games store, as you can win cool rewards such as special promo cards and amazing-looking playmats. If you have a local store that does card game events in general, you can always ask if they can start hosting these official events via their own Bushi Navi account. This remains the best way to meet up with other Cardfight!! Vanguard players, and it’s also the best way to try out new decks you have created. It’s a great way to spend time with other Cardfight!! Vanguard enthusiasts, and it’s always nice to spend some time on your favorite hobby.
