Cardgameshop is celebrating the grand opening of their new store!
Cardgameshop is already a rather known shop name in Belgium, and they have been gaining more and more popularity thanks to their great service and wide variety of products. The shop originally started out as a small Pokémon webshop, that eventually grew so popular that their office-bedroom setup wasn’t the right setting anymore. As time progressed, the small webshop grew into a bigger online platform, to eventually open the store in Hasselt, and the rest is basically history.
As stated above, what started off as a two-man operation is now already turning into a two-shop franchise. Cardgameshop, the card game place-to-be in Hasselt is now opening its new shop in Wijnegem on the 9th of September. This alone is already a cause for celebration, but on the grand opening of the second store, there will be more than 10 different promotions and other events to experience. Starting from 15.00 there will be around-the-clock live performances and the only and only Jason Paige, the singer of the original Pokémon theme song, will be there to celebrate the grand opening of Cardgameshop Wijnegem as well. You’ll be able to buy tickets to have your favorite Pokémon memorabilia signed, and there’s also a giveaway for the first 100 clients. These clients will receive a unique poster that has been designed by Cardgameshop, and out of these 100 posters, 5 will be signed by Jason Paige.
Those familiar with the store in Hasselt might also want to visit the store in Wijnegem as it will be four times bigger than the Hasselt store. We love initiatives such as this, and it’s always great when card (and board) game enthusiasts have a place to go to. We wish Jordy, Dorien, and the rest of their staff and volunteers a lot of success and we can’t wait to see what the store will look like.
