Christmas charm hits the tropics in the current demo for Restore Your Island
Games where you can spend your time slowly cleaning up an area and giving it your own touch without being hurried by a time limit or score seem to be really popular. For example, Powerwash Simulator or House Flipper. The upcoming game by indie dev PaiBand is kind of similar. In Restore Your Island, you end up on a deserted island by yourself and have to gradually clean the place, turning it into a tropical paradise fit for your adorable dog companion. There’s no rush, no rules, and you can truly make it your own. Clean up trash, recycle it, and make the island thrive with animals. The game currently has a demo out on Steam if you want to give it a shot, and even better, the demo has a special Christmas mode that turns your island into a winter wonderland, if you’re into that sort of thing.
