Classic D&D RPGs hit modern consoles today

Enhanced editions of several classic Dungeons & Dragons fantasy RPGs are out now, with more on the way soon. The first wave of these re-releases includes Baldur’s Gate alongside the Siege of Dragonspear expansion, Baldur’s Gate II, Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale. Both physical and download versions are available for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

The games are bundled together in two packages: The Baldur’s Gate Enhanced Edition pack celebrates the 20th anniversary of the classic game series not just with updated graphics and restored quest content, but also includes all DLC and expansions for both Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II alongside a brand new expansion that bridges the gap between the two games. Meanwhile, Planescape: Torment and Icewind Dale are bundled together alongside all of their DLC as well. Each bundle will set you back $49.99. As if that isn’t enough, Skybound Games and Beamdog, who are responsible for publishing these re-releases will also be bringing back Neverwinter Nights with an enhanced edition on December 3rd.
