Crash Team Rumble coming to consoles in June
It has been silent for a while but now it looks like Crash Bandicoot is back with a new game. Recently, we gamers had the opportunity to relive the adventures of Crash, his sister Coco and guide Aku Aku with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Crash Team Racing Nitro-fueled.
This time around Crash and his team return like never before, in an all-new a 4V4 team-based multiplayer game, a genre that the series hasn’t touched upon so far. In Crash Team Rumble players get to pick their favorite character from the Crash-universe and each character falls within one of three roles. Blockers, Boosters and Scorers need to work tactically together to get the most Wumpa-fruit in their dropzone. All of this while trying to block the enemy in their dropzone and looking on the map for the special Relic Powers who give its holders magnificent powers to get an even bigger edge on the opposition.
Crash Team Rumble is developed by Toys For Bob, published by Activision Publishing and will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on June 20th, 2023. If you order the game now then you get access to the ‘Closed Beta’ which is planned from April 20 until April 24. In this ‘Closed Beta’ participants can pick between five heroes and baddies from the game and play in three colorful arenas. This ‘Closed Beta’ is used for the developers to reflect on the inputs from the community and make the game even better.
