Dark fantasy strategy game “Gord” joins long list of Team17’s (soon to be) published games

Gord is a single-player dark fantasy strategy game that is mostly about Slavic folklore in a world of primordial Gods and legendary creatures. Does this sound familiar? Well, it’s maybe because Gord is a game of a former Witcher 3 producer (now part of Covenant.dev), where the Witcher stories are also inspired by a lot of folklore. Players will have to complete quests to grow the tribe’s settlements (known as ‘gords’) and fortify these from invaders while managing a populace whose personal stories, familial ties, and well-being can have a devastating impact on the survival of their communities. Want to see a little bit of what this game looks like? Watch the trailer below. So far all we know about the game release is that it will be somewhere in 2022 for PC according to Steam.
