Discover SHIELD Experience 9.0 upgrade
NVIDIA SHIELD TVs are getting an impressive update! The SHIELD Software Experience Upgrade 9.0 includes:
- Android 11 operating system
- An updated Gboard (Google Keyboard): people can use their voice and the Google Assistant to discover content in all search boxes.
- Additional permissions: it allows users to customize their privacy for different apps, including a new “just this time” option to grant temporary, one-time permissions.
- adds support for aptX-compatible Bluetooth headsets. This, in addition to existing support for LDAC headsets, gives customers more options for higher quality listening options.
- Exciting new app releases and updates that will bring new and improved content to SHIELD TV-powered home theaters.
- Google Play Movies & TV adds stunning Dolby Vision HDR for unparalleled cinematic experiences on SHIELD TV.
- Additional and stronger support for (cloud) gaming.
