Dragonkin: The Banished is now available!
NACON has announced that Early Access for Dragonkin: The Banished is now available on Steam. It’s a new hack ‘n slash game developed by Eko Software that offers gameplay that stays true to the genre’s core principles while introducing unique elements.
Players will be able to choose one out of three dragon hunters, and it’s their job to defend the human race from the so-called Ancient Dragons. Dragonkin: The Banished offers an endless number of ways to improve your character, a unique skill system called the Ancestral Grid, and a sidekick called a ‘dragonet’ that will accompany you throughout your journey and has its own improvable abilities that you can combine with your own.
In the town of Montescail, you can visit merchants to purchase equipment and crafting options to enhance your character. Players can upgrade the town to their heart’s content and expand it to unlock new services to further strengthen their hero. Once the main hunt is complete, an endgame experience awaits, offering a variety of game modes.
During this Early Access period, the game will receive several updates, including hero upgrades, city upgrades, endgame modes, environments, and different types of enemies. In addition, co-op for up to 4 players will be added in late 2025, allowing friends to fight the Ancient Dragon together while sharing city services and bonuses.
The full version of Dragonkin: The Banished will also be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
