Explore StarRupture’s planet of Arcadia-7 in nearly 10 minutes of new gameplay!
Earlier this year, Creepy Jar revealed a gameplay teaser for their second title, StarRupture. Now, a nearly 10-minute video of footage has been released showcasing the depth and detail of the world they’re building. Creepy Jar put all of the experience they collected while developing their first hit, Green Hell, into practice on this all-new survival and base-building adventure. As the game is built in Unreal Engine 5, the trailer shows the beautiful landscapes of Arcadia-7.
Arcadia-7 is a stunning, yet dangerous planet where you play as a prisoner. Here, you’ll have to serve your sentence while gathering resources for a global corporation that sees you as property that should deliver, no matter what. In the meantime, you’ll have to endure the ruthless laws of nature as the planet’s star, Ruptura, is both life-giving and life-taking. It’s a star that counts down to its next catastrophic death that will tear Arcadia-7 apart only for it to be reborn after.
Now, let’s go over the game’s key features. Firstly, you’ll explore a world that’s bound to self-destruct. Yet, it offers many resources, places, and secrets to discover. Next, you’ll have to search, mine, and process resources to build an industrial system. Unlock new technologies along the way to make sure you and your base survive the planet’s harsh conditions. Additionally, you’ll also have to defend yourself, your team, and your base against aggressive alien creatures. Lastly, you can either play this game by yourself or in a group of up to four people.
