Extinct brings cute donut-shaped creatures into your home on the 24th of November
Family movie Extinct – also known under the Dutch title ‘De Flummels’ – was released in theatres on August 4th. Since it wasn’t produced by any of the major animation studios that currently dominate the field, it might have flown under your radar, but it is in fact an adorable family comedy about bizarre donut-shaped creatures living on the Galapagos islands in 1835. When two of these creatures end up time traveling to modern times, they discover all kinds of technology and fast food, but also that their species has since gone extinct. Something they must try to prevent from happening at all costs by altering history. it’s an insane plot for a kid’s movie, but that makes it all the more fun. With famous Belgian voice actors such as Sven De Ridder, Ella Leyers, Michiel De Meyer, Catherine Petit, and Jan Schepens, you’re in for a strange ride. Extinct will be coming out on DVD and Video-on-demand services on November 24.
