Face the cold in Dredge’s first expansion
Fans of the award-winning fishing adventure Dredge can now explore the watery world further with its first expansion, The Pale Reach. In Dredge, players navigate their fishing trawler through remote islands, unraveling mysteries, interacting with inhabitants, and encountering wildlife. Completing quests and discovering treasure unlocks new abilities to aid in the journey. Upgrades for both the player and their boat are attainable through special equipment and rewards earned by selling fish to the locals.
The expansion extends the experience to the frozen landscapes of The Pale Reach. Players can trace the path of a doomed expedition, utilizing the new icebreaker to eliminate obstacles like icebergs. Eleven new fish and crabs, requiring ice blocks for preservation during long journeys, add to the challenge. The Pale Reach is available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch, with a second expansion, The Iron Ring, set for an early 2024 release.
PC gamers can enjoy an additional feature as the game now officially supports Razer Chroma RGB, enhancing the underwater experience with dynamic lighting.
