First Wi-FI 6E Access Point launched by EnGenius

Today, EnGenius Technologies Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of future-proof enterprise networking solutions, releases the first Wi-FI 6E Access Point designed for the SMB Market. The ECW336 Wi-Fi 6E indoor ceiling mount tri-band access point is developed for use with the brand-new 6 GHz spectrum.

It’s expected that over 500 million new devices compatible with the new Wi-Fi 6E network will be releasing on the market within the next three years. While the existing 2.4Ghz and 5 GHz bands offer a total of 560 MHz of spectrum with 27 channels, the new 6GHz on its own offers 1200 MHz of spectrum and 59 channels.
