Free to Play – Game Expo

Free to Play – Game Expo

The game industry is an ever-changing industry that has known a constant evolution when it comes down to those fancy AAA-titles. The lesser known games, best known as the indie titles, often get left in the dark because of this. Free to Play wants to change this by providing an indie game expo, free of charge, to the public with a large range of activities.

Free to Play will start off with talks by Leigh Alexander, Rami Ismail from Vlambeer and Auriea Harvey from Tale of Tales, followed by a public opening of the Game Worlds exhibition. Simultaneously you will be able to play several indie titles of Sony and Nintendo, experience Virtual Reality with the Oculus Rift and much more. While the exhibition will be open for public every day, certain days will have extra activities such as a Games Workshop and indie games documentaries. They will be closing the exhibition with a big bang with the help of chiptune sounds and live performances.

The second edition of the indie game expo, Free to Play, will take place from the 17th of May until the 15th of June at the Design center ‘De Winkelhaak’ in Antwerp and is completely free. For more information, please check out www.freetoplay2014.be
