Gaming Factory has released a new video offering a closer look at their upcoming title JDM: Japanese Drift Master. The footage provides players with a glimpse of the game’s story-driven campaign and highlights the core gameplay elements. In JDM: Japanese Drift Master, players take on the role of Touma, a Polish driver who moves to Japan in search of a fresh start and redemption. As the story progresses, Touma becomes immersed in the underground street racing scene, building relationships and gaining respect through a mix of drifting, racing, and personal rivalries. Gameplay in the campaign blends open-world exploration with mission-based progression. Players begin each session in their garage and can freely explore the fictional Guntama Prefecture. Story missions are marked on the map and are introduced through stylized manga panels before transitioning into gameplay.

Key Features:

  • Varied Event Types: Participate in drift, grip, and drag races, each with distinct goals and playstyles.
  • Dynamic Objectives: Some races test both speed and drifting skills.
  • Diverse Missions: Events range from competitive races to narrative-driven tasks like deliveries or evading pursuers.
  • Open-World Freedom: Players can explore the world between missions at their own pace.

JDM: Japanese Drift Master is a single-player racing game that merges simulation with arcade-style gameplay. Built in Unreal Engine 5, it features realistic driving physics paired with accessible mechanics. Players can fine-tune licensed vehicles—including newly added Honda models—and participate in a variety of race types. Extensive customization options allow players to modify their cars to suit drifting, grip racing, or balanced performance. JDM: Japanese Drift Master will be available on Steam, GoG, and the Epic Games Store starting May 21, 2025.
