Give senior life a try with Ultimate Grandma Simulator’s Next Fest demo

Indie team We Don’t Have a Studio is bringing geriatric chaos to Steam Next Fest with their debut title, Ultimate Grandma Simulator. The delightfully absurd walking simulator follows Granny, a determined yet fragile grandmother, as she embarks on a heartwarming mission to find her missing grandson, Tommy. Players will guide Granny through ten increasingly treacherous platforming levels set across bustling cities, chaotic schools, and even zombie-infested construction zones—all while managing her limited stamina and breath. With each cautious step and every inhale, survival becomes a hilarious balancing act between patience, precision, and sheer stubbornness. But Ultimate Grandma Simulator isn’t just slapstick mayhem—it’s also a heartfelt story about perseverance and memory.

Players can collect coins hidden along tougher paths to recover Granny’s fading recollections, piecing together her past and unlocking a secret ending. Between dodging frisbees, parrying flying objects, and navigating precarious platforms, every level challenges players to master Granny’s rhythm and endurance. Featuring a clever checkpoint system to keep frustration at bay, the game rewards persistence and humor in equal measure. The game’s demo is now live for Steam Next Fest. It includes the first two stages, featuring domestic hazards like vacuum cleaners, meddling neighbors, and unruly park-goers ready to trip Granny up at every turn. The full game can be wishlisted on Steam.
