Home Release – Cake
In Cake, we meet Claire Bennett (Jennifer Aniston), a rather cynical woman who kind of defriended everyone she knows, except for her loyal housekeeper. The suicide of a group member in a social group for people with chronical aches, really gets to Claire and the more details she uncovers from the incident, the more she starts to struggle with her own problems.
Aniston surely proves that she’s capable of a lot more than her comedy role in Friends. The raw drama mixed with some humorous touches certainly sounds like an interesting combination for the actress.
Cake will release on September 2 and the movie will come out on DVD, Blu-ray and Video On Demand.
