The company has dropped two new transparent back plates that give your handheld device a cooler appearance. The RGB Transparent Back Plate (PC0106C) is an ultra-sleek transparent back plate fitted with RGB lights and its own battery that you charge through USB-port. When turned on, you can pick between six different light modes or shift between colors, while also getting that nice look at the Steam Deck’s inside electronics thanks to the transparent finish. It retails for a modest $39.99 if you’re interested. Want to keep it a bit more low-key? Maybe the Transparent Back Plate Vents (Cooling Edition) (PC0106D) is more your style. This simple transparent back plate comes in two colors – crystal or purple – but as the name suggests stands out since it has been fitted with additional technology to keep your device from overheating. Quite handy for the more intensive gamers. This back plate will be available for $26.99.
