Kroots offers children imaginative stories, and you don’t even need a screen!
We always love sharing interesting new concepts from our very own country. Kroots is exactly one of those. This startup company by Hannes Van Cauwenberghe is an imaginative new way to introduce young children to diversity, other cultures, and using your imagination. Kroots will release short audiobooks for young kids that are geared towards their young world, featuring similarly aged protagonists going on adventures. Their first story, Gigi & Globsi, is about 65 minutes in length, available in Dutch, and can be acquired through digital platforms such as Spotify Audiobooks and Storytel. But Kroots is also releasing the story in the form of a cassette tape as a nostalgic touch and to offer parents a screenless alternative to entertain their kids.
