Launch peak with release World of Warcraft Classic
With more than one million unique viewers on the World of Warcraft Classic’s launch day. Blizzard Entertainment’s newest creation of Warcraft franchise set a new record for the highest launch-day viewership on Twitch. Within 24 hours after launch, the viewer count was over six million viewers.
Blizzard Entertainment praised its subscribers who started a new adventure in the authentic rebuilt Azeroth without the seven expansions. Word of Warcraft Classic launched on the 27th of August 2019. The game brings the old World of Warcraft back where it all began. With the traditional raids, classic skill trees, original character models and the classic world, the players relive the era of Warcraft.
