Only recently, we reviewed the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar for 2025, and we quite enjoyed what this set filled with small LEGO goodness had to offer. Now, we trade in fantasy and wizardry for sci-fi adventures with the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2025. LEGO Star Wars has been one of LEGO’s most popular collaborations, and we can honestly see why. George Lucas’ space opera has fans all across the globe since its early beginnings in 1977, and it seems that the franchise still has so many more stories to tell. For now, however, we’ll just stick with Christmas presents, and the LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2025 promises quite a few nice additions to every collector or enthusiast of LEGO Star Wars.
It’s hard to imagine that LEGO Star Wars has been around since 1999, and that it’s still going so strong. The original sets were inspired by the release of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace, and later on, many other movie characters, vehicles, and items received their own LEGO sets. The Advent calendars have also become a staple for many of the LEGO collaborations, and Star Wars is no exception here. The LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2025 has, as expected, 24 LEGO items, ranging from small constructable iconic structures to minifigures and droids. It’s a well-rounded package for all ages.
Just like with the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar, the building time is also very limited when it comes to the items in the new LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar. Most items will take you less than a minute to construct, but there’s a nice variety in the set. While still a very nice treat for children, we assume a lot of LEGO Star Wars collectors will find a few nice items in this Advent calendar to add to their bigger LEGO Star Wars builds. There aren’t that many minifigs in this calendar, and the focus seems to be more on cool-looking droids, which is something we didn’t mind at all. Once again, some may argue that the set’s price is a bit steep, but all things considered, you’re getting a reasonable amount of nifty additions for your LEGO Star Wars collection. As we actually own the previous LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, we also must say that the creative team behind this one did a good job focusing on other aspects of the Star Wars universe.
Conclusion
LEGO’s Star Wars Advent Calendar for 2025 is a rather cool addition for any LEGO Star Wars collector’s collection. The bundle offers a lot of droid-inspired items, and there are a few nifty, smaller constructions added to the set too. This is certainly a great gift for fans of (LEGO) Star Wars and even children who are starting their own LEGO Star Wars adventures. We will be sure to include many of these smaller pieces in our bigger LEGO Star Wars builds.
