Letters of War is available to wishlist soon
Wood Cabin Games has officially announced Letters of War, a 2D narrative adventure inspired by Valiant Hearts: The Great War and based on a real family story. Letters of War follows the experiences of Liam, a British carpenter who enlists to fight in World War II, and his daughter Rosie. The narrative alternates between Liam’s involvement in significant wartime events and Rosie’s life on the home front, where her father’s letters serve as a key emotional connection.
Set against the backdrop of major World War II battles such as Normandy and Monte Cassino, the story explores themes of separation, resilience, and connection through the letters exchanged between father and daughter. Letters of War is being developed by a small team based in Kazakhstan and the UK. The game will be available to wishlist on Steam on the 3rd of July, with a Summer 2025 release being targeted.
