Lone indie dev Tim Wheatley releases helicopter combat game Blue Fury
Inspired by classics from his own childhood, Tim Wheatley is an indie developer who taught himself to program just so he could make games based on nostalgia and retro mechanics, after working in the gaming industry on the sales side for his entire life. Blue Fury is his debut title. A helicopter combat game with a serious difficulty scale, the trailer highlights simple graphics but an intriguing concept. It’s available now on Steam for a paltry $9.99, so no reason not to check it out if this is the sort of thing you’re into. For our part, we just love seeing people who create things out of passion, which certainly seems the case here.
