Magical Delicacy casts its spell on players in next year
During the Halloween season, most developers like to put some scary or gory touch to their games, but developers sKaule went in a whole other direction with their newest game Magical Delicacy. This game blends Metroidvania-style exploration with the easy-going life of a witch who enjoys cooking more than anything.
In Magical Delicacy, you take on the role of Flora, a young witch who arrives at the small town of Grat to grow her magical skills. Here she encounters two covens of witches that have been rivals for many generations. The Shena Circle wants to harvest the power of the magical river that runs through the town must be harvested as a magical gift to better protect the people that live near it, while the Keskar Dawn urges to leave the source alone to protect the magical creatures around it. Now Flora has to get involved since the best teachers are in these opposing parties.
Explore the town of Grat and its many unique locations with a ton of traversal abilities, unlocking many more throughout the game. Bring the ingredients you find here back home to cook delicious meals for the inhabitants. All of this can be experienced at your own pace with a ton of optional encounters and free play opportunities, delivered in a beautiful pixelated art style. Keep your pots and pans ready when Magical Delicacy comes to PC and Xbox next year.
