Martha Is Dead – New trailer released!

A new trailer for the upcoming first-person psychological thriller Martha Is Dead has been released today! This trailer focuses on the Second World War’s impact on the game’s Tuscan setting, and reveals the casting of international movie star Udo Kier as a Wermacht General – and the protagonist’s father. Martha Is Dead is set to be released this year on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 5 & Xbox One, and is developed by LKA and published by Wired Productions.

It’s 1944, and a war that for so long seemed so far away is now creeping ever closer to home. As the Allies fight their way up the spine of Italy, Giulia has to battle her demons following the death of her twin sister Martha, just as her father, a General in the Wehrmacht, now finds himself on the front line…
Martha Is Dead features a multi-layered narrative style combined with with real world locations, historical events, superstition, folklore, and deep psychological distress.

A demo of Martha is Dead will launch on Steam on Friday 1st October, offering at least one hour of playtime! The demo will include different excerpts from the game, plus an exclusive ending scene and additional elements that won’t be featured in the final release.
