Microids releases the very first trailer for Asterix & Obelix XXL: Romastered
The remastered version of the Action/Adventure title originally released in 2003 is being developed by Osome Studio and will launch in Europe on the 22nd of October 2020 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Both the graphics and the soundtrack have been fully remastered and new gameplay elements have been included.
On top of this global enhancement, the game is bringing 4 new game modes to the table for even more Roman slapping enjoyment: “Parkour” mode to challenge player’s agility, “Against the Hourglass” for speed lovers and “Extreme” mode for those looking for a difficult challenge. The fourth new game mode called “Retro” will allow switching between the original graphics and the newly remastered version with a push of a button.
