NeverAwake is headed for Xbox
Award-winning game NeverAwake is set to launch on Xbox consoles in Q2 2023. Developed by Neotro Inc and published by Phoenixx, the twin-stick shoot ’em-up game takes players into the world of a young girl’s nightmares. The game has already received several awards and accolades, including the Famitsu Golden Hall of Fame in January 2023, the Tokyo Game Show 2022 First Selection designation, and a Metacritic score of 84 overall, not to mention a not-too-shabby 8.5 out of 10 on our own website.
Players will navigate through more than 80 levels, combat protagonist Rem’s hallucinations, and fight dozens of terrifying bosses while bobbing and weaving through enemy fire. The Xbox release will include the latest 1.1 content update featuring the secret HIMITSU CHALLENGE, six new reality-bending accessories, and gameplay optimizations and balance adjustments. NeverAwake is already available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. The game arrives on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S soon, with the Nightmare World Art digital artbook and NeverAwake soundtrack available for purchase separately or as part of a bundle.
