Neverwinter Nights joins the lineup of enhanced D&D games
Classic games Baldur’s Gate I&II, Icewind Dale and Planescape: Torment made their triumphant return when the Enhanced Editions hit consoles recently. That lineup is now joined by the legendary Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. The Enhanced edition delivers the original RPG and over 100 of DLC, including 10 standalone Dungeons & Dragons-based adventures featuring co-op. The PS4 and Switch editions will even offer online multiplayer from day one, although players are required to download a patch before being able to use this feature. The Xbox One version will receive an online multiplayer via a separate patch in January 2020.
Those that buy the game will immediately gain access to the base game as well as the Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansions. Premium models such as Wyvern Crown of Cormyr and Pirates of the Sword Coast are available as free downloads. The game is available both as a digital download and as a physical retail game for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
