New mascot horror Dark Pals: The 1st Floor just launched
Mascot horror is still going strong, since the fascination behind making cute children’s things horrifyingly creepy is still popular too. Today, indie developer Skunx Games happily announced that the first chapter of their horror game Dark Pals just dropped. And yes, you heard that right, it’s the first chapter. Since mascot horror devs seem unable to not chop their games into chunks and release them in short chapters rather than a full game. Whether you like or dislike that, Dark Pals: The 1st Floor can be enjoyed now. This game takes you into the depths of a children’s asylum, where the cute facade has melted away to show the disturbing events that actually took place. Solve puzzles, survive chase scenes, and meet several jolly mascots happy to rip your face off. It’s the usual fare, though the trailer down below might tempt you.
