New naval focused expansion ‘Mare Nostrum’ coming to Europa Universalis IV
Grand strategy game ‘Europa Universalis IV’ now has it’s latest expansion announced. ‘Mare Nostrum’ (meaning ‘Our Sea’) is a massive naval focused expansion pack that will bring with it game improvements and more importantly, many new additions to what is already an expansive and exciting game.
Paradox Development Studio will bring the anticipated expansion to their best-selling empire builder on April 5, 2016 and with it comes a brand set of possibilities such as new options for merchant republics. These money driven states allow for new trading, commercial and trading possibilities. Mare Nostrum will also introduce brand new mercenary options with more ability to control you naval missions, the option to loan your armies, and map sharing.
Owners of Europa Universalis IV who do not purchase this update will still benefit from a magnitude of improvements. These improvements include a map expansion, espionage reworking, interface improvements, naval combat changes and updates to game balance, AI and modding.
