New trailer revealed for Simon the Sorcerer Origins, coming October 28!

The brand-new prequel to the Simon the Sorcerer point-and-click adventure games, Simon the Sorcerer Origins, will be released on October 28th. The game is set in April 1993, a couple of weeks before the events of the first episodes released 30 years ago. Its developer, SMALLTHING Studios, collaborated with Simon Woodroffe, the lead creator, and designer of the original games back in the 90s, to research the settings, analyse the characters, and pay the utmost attention to detail. Humor, sarcasm, and a challenge were always the three key elements of these games, and this won’t be any different with its prequel.
The game stands out because of its animations, the hand-drawn artwork, and the soundtrack, composed by Mason Fisher and chart-topper Rick Astley. Next, dialogue comes in two languages: English (voiced by Chris Barrie) and German (voiced by Erik Borner). Additionally, localization is available in 11 languages, making Origins accessible to players worldwide. The game is coming to all major platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5, Xbox, and Steam Deck. A special edition will also be available.
