Pinball Planet revealed for Android and iOS

Every once in a while, developers want to go back to the roots of gaming. The young development studio LuGus Studios from Belgium has that same goal. Thanks to their love for pinball games, they noticed that modern pinball games are mostly simulators for the veterans. This is why they now go back to the roots of pinball, to re-introduce pinball to the generation who may no longer grasp the concept of flipping a ball around.

With that LuGus Studios introduces Pinball Planet, a pinball game that is set to release for Android and iOS systems later this year. Pinball Planet will be a great way to introduce the joys of pinball to novices. At the same time, the game will prove to be challenging enough for the veterans via a dynamic mission system. By being a digital pinball game, various mechanics are added to blow some new life in the genre – a feature that’s impossible with the old-school pinball games. Pinball Planet also features certain RPG elements that makes the game even more interesting for all kinds of gamers. You’ll be able to find a leveling system, various power-ups, statistics, in-game economy and even complete freedom in gameplay progression.

Pinball Planet uses real-time 3D visuals which results in some very unique pinball levels. If you don’t believe me, feel free to check out the screenshots I have available for you.
