POSTAL 2 Redux, a remake of the infamous FPS, announced for PC and consoles!
Flat2VR Studios, Team Beef, and the crew at Running With Scissors revealed plans for a ground-up overhaul of 2003’s infamous open-world shooter, called POSTAL 2 Redux. Redux will take every original asset of the Unreal 1.5 engine and put it into today’s Unity. Rather than compromise the Dude’s return, Flat5VR Studios convinced Running With Scissors to authorize a full resurrection. They want to deliver the ultimate version with no limits and ready for every screen.
POSTAL 2 Redux offers enhanced visuals, new weapons, nastier physics, and a bunch of Easter eggs from the original. Redux will also make sure you can sprint from one side of town to the other without a single immersion-breaker. Additionally, riots between civilians will spark faster and messier than ever. And last but not least, get ready to pet Champ 2.0, Paradise’s goodest boy. Paradise itself will become more vivid as lighting shifts over each in-game day, and every corner littered with junk is full of physics-enabled debris just waiting to be destroyed.
The game will be available for every modern console: PC, PS4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The Kickstarter Blood Drive will launch this summer, but the pre-launch page is already open. Go follow it if you want to receive updates about the game.
