Release date revealed for WWI first-person shooter Isonzo
Today, developer Game Drive has announced the release date for their upcoming WWI first-person shooter Isonzo, the successor of Tannenberg. Isonzo will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Italian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers will use everything from sniper rifles and ice picks to poison gas and mountain guns to wage war against each other.
Isonzo encompasses the southern front where the Kingdom of Italy and the Austro-Hungarian Empire clashed in a deadly war. Isonzo immerses players in a unique, historically accurate way to experience the high-altitude battles with the Offensive game mode. You will participate in key historical moments like the historic battle for the Isonzo river.
Isonzo also introduces a brand-new class system that introduces distinct roles and numerous loadout options to pick from. With accurately modeled weapons and immersive sound effects combined with the scenic peaks, rugged valleys, and idyllic towns, it’s just like you’re really fighting in WWI.
