RuneFest confirmed for October

The annual celebration of RuneScape and Old School RuneScape under the exclusive name of RuneFest has been confirmed for October 2019. RuneFest 2019 is said to become the biggest and therefore most awesome RuneFest ever. The convention will take place on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th of October at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre. Tickets go on sale today, starting 4PM BST, with standard tickets being available for £150. If you are looking to buy tickets or want further information on RuneFest 2019, we will direct you to the official website.

There’s no better way to connect with the ever-expanding RuneScape community than by bringing everyone together to forge some legendary memories both in person or online. RuneFest at Farnborough provides us with the opportunity to bring more of our living game world of Gielinor to life than ever before while expanding The Golden Gnome Awards on the first night gives us the perfect chance for our community to shine in the spotlight!”, said Josh Winward, head of Events at Jagex.

While we did say the standard tickets are priced at £150, there are a limited amount of early bird tickets available for £135 via the official RuneFest website. Each of the early bird tickets will also grant you access to The Golden Gnome Awards and the Night Before Party on Friday 4th of October. The festival will also be available online so that fans can tune in from the comfort of their own homes.

Each RuneFest has its own theme but the theme for RuneFest 2019 has yet to be announced. However fans can expect The Golden Gnome Awards, an annual celebration of the franchise’s prestigious community award ceremony, to be held on Friday night whilst Saturday will bring a day packed with gaming, cosplay, in-depth developer panels, exclusive merchandise stores and of course, all the latest news for RuneScape.
