SnowRunner confirms Day 1 mod support and shows a roadmap sneak peek
The off-road trucking adventure SnowRunner from Saber Interactive and Focus Home Interactive is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 28th. It features navigation through huge, untamed environments behind the wheel of huge trucks, taking on sandbox missions either solo or co-op.
Today, more details about the game’s mod support on PC have been unveiled, with console mod support planned at a later date. Saber Interactive has been working closely with some of the modders in the community during development, with several vehicle mods already created and ready for launch. Full map modding support, including missions, is planned to be available later down the road.
As for the sneak peek, several of the planned post-launch content updates have been revealed. These include interior customization as well as a range of cosmetic items, which will also be moddable.
All of this has been possible thanks to the partnership with Mod.io to bring PC modding support, with plans to make the creators of the most popular mods eligible for rewards.
