TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight crashlands on PC today!

Developer and triple-A Japanese game industry veteran nocras and publisher PLAYISM are bringing their highly anticipated game TASOMACHI: Behind The Twilight to Steam and GOG today. In this gorgeous 3D exploration platformer, set in a mysterious Far-Eastern fantasy world, players step into the shoes of protagonist Yukumo. After her airship crashes in an unknown land, Yukumo must double jump, dash and airdrop her way through ancient temples and cherry blossom-covered towns, in order to find the parts she needs to get her vessel back into the air. TASOMACHI showcases a beautiful landscape inspired by the art, culture and geography of East Asia and late 90s collect-a-thon platformers. This is underscored by a soundtrack by Japanese musician Ujico.

The game serves as the debut title for triple-A environmental artist-turned-game developer nocras, whose work you may have seen in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. His credits also include 2D artwork for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and field map design for Pokémon Sword and Shield. Alongside the game, the original soundtrack is available for purchase and a set of original wallpapers is included in the game files as a bonus. TASOMACHI is available now on Windows PC through Steam and GOG.
