The Last of Us Special Editions
The newest game to come out of Uncharted developer Naughty Dog is set to release soon, like many of you I’m excited for the launch of The Last of Us. Lately its becoming hard to decided on what edition of a game I should purchase, do I go for the most expensive one or just say screw it and go for the standard edition with just the game?
If you were hoping that The Last of Us would make it easier on you, well you’re wrong. The game is not only releasing with the standard edition but both North America and Europe are getting 2 exclusive special editions to choose from.

The Survival Edition will run you $79.99 and include:
- The Art of The Last of Us a 170 page art book
- The Last of Us: American Dreams issue #1 of the Dark Horse comic book that focuses on Ellie’s back-story
- A steelbook case
- The Sights and Sounds DLC that includes the games soundtrack, a dynamic theme for your PS3, and Winter Joel and Ellie PSN avatars
- Naughty Dog Chrome Stickers
The Post-Pandemic Edition will run you $159.99 and is only available through Gamestop and includes:
- All the contents in the Survival Edition, Except the 170 page art book
- 12″ Statue of Ellie and Joel
- The Survival DLC that includes: Bonus XP, a melee booster, in-game currency, and customizable character items to be used in multiplayer
- Joel and Ellie skins that can be used once the Single-player is completed
If you live in Europe you get the choice between either the Ellie edition or the Joel edition, The Ellie Edition is exclusively available at GAME while the Joel edition is exclusively available at Tesco and independent retailers and will run you £54.99
