Tintin’s Moon Rocket blasts off the comic pages and onto your LEGO shelf!
The LEGO Group has officially revealed the latest set in their LEGO Ideas line: the Tintin Moon Rocket set. This set brings to life Hergé’s iconic comic series, specifically the albums Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon. All the familiar characters from the albums are included as LEGO minifigures: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, and the jovial duo Thomson and Thompson, all in striking orange spacesuits with helmets and oxygen tanks. Of course, Tintin’s faithful dog Snowy also travels along. The design for the rocket was submitted via the LEGO Ideas platform by Portugal-based fan designer Alexis Dos Santos.
The display model is specially designed for builders aged 18 and over. Once built, the rocket looks like it’s flown straight out of the comic strip and landed in your living room. It’s a real eye-catcher that will add a touch of color to your interior. When Hergé drew his space albums, he sought advice from scientists and engineers. The iconic red and white checkered rocket consists of 1,283 LEGO bricks and stands 49 cm tall. The set officially launches on April 4th, 2026, for €159.99 and is available for preorder through the LEGO website.
