Torment: Tides of Numenera beta release date revealed
Torment: Tides of Numenera is the spiritual successor of cult classic Planescape Torment, which was released 17 years ago. After a quick pre-alpha teasing more than a year ago, the beta release date has been finally revealed. Eligible backers will gain access to the beta during the week of 17 January. A mere week later, on the 26th of January, the game will be available as an Early Access game on the Steam platform.
Brian Fargo from inXile announced that the beta will start right from the very beginning of the game, covering the game’s introductory sequence as well as most regions of the first major location in the game, namely Sagus Cliffs. This city is split into five main districts and is rich in lore and filled with characters to interact with. More obviously, the city of Sagus Cliffs offers many quests to complete.
