TT Games goes behind the scenes of LEGO Star Wars
Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm Games have released a new video that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of LEGO Star Wars games as well as the development of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which they call the most ambitious LEGO game to date. This reinvigorated tale of the legendary saga filled with fresh LEGO humor features a new third-person perspective, new combat mechanics for intuitive in-game action, iconic ships built brick by brick, and the popular Mumble mode. The video showcases the collaboration between the partners to provide fans with something special, and offers insight into the development of some of the surprises players will discover in the game, such as a new mode, which humorously replaces all weapon sound effects with phonetic voice sounds that mimic guns, lightsabers and more!
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be released on 5 April 2022 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Players who pre-order the game digitally will receive early access to the Trooper character pack on the day of release. The pack will be available one month after release to players who purchase the Character Collection (a season pass containing the seven character packs), but is also available separately. The digital version of the game also includes classic Obi-Wan Kenobi as an exclusive playable character. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition includes an exclusive LEGO Star Wars Minifigure: Luke Skywalker with blue milk.
