Upcoming Movie – Selma
On January 19th, the United States celebrates Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a day to celebrate the life and mourn the death of Martin Luther King Jr., one of the most important human right activist the world has known. His march on Washington, where he delivered his “I have a dream” speech, is known by just about everyone. Before that march however, there were many others. In Selma, directed by Ava DuVernay, we follow the events of the march from Selma to Montgomery. A march to conquer equal voting, no matter the race, age or sex.
Selma will star David Oyelowo, Tom Wilkinson, Tim Roth, Common and many others.
Selma’s soundtrack song Glory, made by John Legend and Common, has been nominated for an Oscar and has already won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song. You can find the trailer for Selma and the song Glory below:
