Japanese RPG are already known for having some really batshit insane premises, but The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily might take the cake. After Duchess Scarlet is falsely accused and almost executed by a tyrannical regime, she is saved by a time-travelling streamer called Lily. With Lily’s help, Scarlet will now use modern technology to win the revolution, launching a campaign of misinformation and propaganda to do so. And all of this combined with strategic turn-based gameplay and cute anime graphics, of course. The trailer below shows off this exciting mix, though you don’t have to wait too long to try it for yourself. The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily becomes available on Steam as soon as a couple of days from now, on July 24th.
