Ys IX: Monstrom Nox also available on PS5 in the first quarter of 2023
The Ys-series is a long-running series that started all the way back in 1987. It’s also a game that’s mostly available in Japan, the origin country of this series, first. Ys IX: Monstrom Nox was available in Japan in 2019. We got it in Europe and America in 2021. The series mostly seems to find its way to the PlayStation consoles, where Monstrom Nox was available for the PS4, though we also got to try out the Switch version, which was a lot worse due to poor framerate and other visual bugs or annoyances. Now, like a lot of games that want to generate more revenue, if something has passed the PS4 public with success, a PS5 version is imminent. For Ys IX: Monstrom Nox, the PS5 version will have all the previously released cosmetic DLC from PS4 and PS Vita versions, and you can also get a special limited edition if you want. The PS5 version will release somewhere in Spring, 2023.
