LG announces revolutionary release of ThinQ UP appliances
LG electronics is quite the household name when it comes to electronics. As the brand is both very affordable and of high quality, it is quite normal to find LG appliances in households worldwide. To make life even better LG has now announced their latest appliance line, ThinQ UP. This series of home appliances, which includes refrigerators, washers, ovens, dryers and dishwashers, will feature upgradeable elements both on soft- and hardware levels. This allows the appliances to better fit the ever-changing lifestyle of the consumer. Users will be able to enjoy new features and functions without having to make any additional purchases. While the ThinQ UP range already launched in South Korea in January of 2022, the worldwide rollout will start from March 2023 in the U.S. with availability in other markets to follow.
One of the example features is the Laundry Saver Mode which can be applied to dryer models. This feature is extremely useful for the moments when you can’t unload the dryer right away because something else came up. This mode will keep the drum tumbling after the cycle is finished to help prevent wrinkles and odor. Another feature is an Improved Nighttime Brightness Control for refrigerators, perfect for those who like a midnight snack but don’t want to get ‘flashbanged’ every time they open the fridge in the middle of the night.
