A lengthy trailer gives a new look at Nightreign’s gameplay
Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new gameplay overview trailer for ELDEN RING: Nightreign. The trailer provides additional insight into the game’s core mechanics and systems. It also explores how players can navigate and adapt to the game’s demanding environment. Players must make quick decisions related to combat and exploration across a map that features changing biomes, weapon options, and enemy types. Each run builds toward daily encounters, culminating on the third day in battles against powerful Nightlords—new boss enemies introduced in this title.
Collaboration among players is a key element, encouraging the use of complementary skills to face increasingly complex challenges. Players who are unsuccessful in completing a run will still gain relics, which can be used to customize and enhance their characters based on individual playstyles. For the uninitiated, Nightreign is the latest entry in FromSoftware’s ELDEN RING franchise. The game is a standalone multiplayer co-op action survival game. It is scheduled for release on May 30 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
