Everybody who’s heard of Elden Ring will say that it’s a combination of Game of Thrones with Dark Souls. This combination also instantly explains to a lot of people why Elden Ring has a chance to become huge and popular. While for a long time the footage seen was perhaps a bit vague, this new trailer below shows you a lot of background story as well. This background story is visualized in the style of Dark Souls, showing great creatures (bosses?) that will have many a player’s imagination running. Relive through “The Shattering”, an event that brought on a war bringing darkness to “The Lands Between”. To fix a broken world, you, a “Tarnished”, have to go to try and become the new “Elden Lord”.
